Well in just a week the Culemborg Blues will start. They have a great line up. Whit at the end of the fetival performances of Cuby and the Blizzards end JR Band. Cuby I know from my youth. It is the eldest Blues Band of the Netherlands. They perform now over 40 years. They are a very famous band too. If you look them up in Google or MSN searh you will find over 75000 hits. There has been written a lot about them, so I won't do it again overhere, but you can find enough to read about the band, their songs etc. anywhere on the internet.
Jan Rijbroek band I saw earlier this year in Bunnik, while visiting the Blues Route on Tour in Bunnik. You can read about them in one of my earlier posts.
See you all on next saturday and lets hope the weather will be fine.

If I Lost You
Hey, you're the greatest thing in my life, baby
Oh, without your love baby, I don't know just what I'll do
Oh, years of loving you, you've been so true
I believe I'd lose my mind if I lost you
Oh, I guess I've been lucky to have someone so dear
To talk and laugh and always bring me cheer
Oh, after all of this years, you've been so true to me baby
I believe I'd lose my mind if I lost you
Oh, after all the lies I've told you
Just like givin' you, givin' you the stars
Oh, buying you mink coats, mink coats and diamonds
Money in the bank and each year, each year two brand new cars
Hey, you've the greatest thing in my life baby
Oh, between me and you, I've know I got the best deal
Oh, let me thank you, thank you baby
You've been so true I'd lose my mind if I lost you

It isn't easy
It isn't easy to write a post in english but I still want to try to make this page a succes. But due to my work and private circumstances, I haven't lately managed to write 1 or 2 post a week about the music I love.
I still want to do this, use this page for anouncements, lyrics, reviews etc. Untill now it has mostly been a lyric page, with some anouncements and little reviews. I hope I can change this in the coming months and get, just like on The Nice thats my Nickname, 20 to 50 visitors a week.
Remenissing I suppose is the word, and lately fragments of a song are going to my head. It has to do with the dead of my beloved wife. And the feelings went stronger this week, because the wife of one of my collegues died in the same way like my wife did.
The following words echo through my head, I don't know if its an existing song, if not, I made it up myself:
Wake up this morning
hear the telephone ring
Wake up this morning
hear the telephone ring
Thought I heard your voice babe
And my heart... began to sing
Been a while now
Since you've been gone
Been a while now
Since you've been gone
Sittin here at home babe
Feelin all alone
Miss your hugs and kisses
Sittin her at home
Miss your hugs and kisses
Sittin her at home
Waiting on the coach babe
Staring at the telephone
